Settling In

Here’s a quick peek into our new downtown apartment.

We’ve kept the space open, letting the architecture of the place dictate how we decorate. The raw concrete wall is my favorite feature – so many markings and notches to look at.

Chris set me up with a cubby next to my chair – all of my books and art supplies are at arms reach.

The window wall faces to the north, with views of the library, the Floridian Hotel and the performing arts center. Here we can swim at sunset and take full advantage of the open kitchen to finally get healthy. The energy here is right on, and with the park, theater and museum within walking distance, we’re going to have a full, happy life in this place. I’m feeling blessed and ready to make positive changes!
