Chris’ Dad gifted me this Russian 500 Rouble and German Mark. The Rouble has a history and supposedly belonged to a relative of the Tsar who settled in New York after the Revolution. It was discovered in a suitcase along with personal belongings and correspondence. I just love the detail of the engraving and the faint water mark.
