I like the idea of transforming objects beyond their function. These two headbands easily double as necklaces, making for a quick and easy repurposing.
I carefully detached the elastic bands. Luckily, one headband had pre-fabricated loops, so the transformation was instantaneous! Using brass tone rings, I attached the strands of chain to the second headband. I sized both pieces to rest on the collar bone.
Left unworn for over a year, I’m certain my new necklaces will now see life outside my jewelry box!
